What can I eat to grow naturally curly hair?

I guess my hair is what you would call straight but at the same time it looks like it may want to be curly but gave up less than halfway through so I have this weird curl type look unless I keep my hair back or use straightener.

Well, I don't want my hair to be straighter. I want it to be curlier. I've heard that their are some foods you can eat or vitamins you can take to make it grow that way (this is just hear-say).

Has anyone here had straight hair and successfully made it naturally curly?

p.s nothing is impossible, some things are just highly improbable

It's highly not likely.I'm a hairstylist and its impossible food does not make hair grow a certain texture.

Nothing. Hair thickness and texture is genetically pre-determined.

I'm not going to say there is or isn't something, but I've never heard of anything. You might want to use Garnie Frutis curl moose, that's what I use and it works great. It doesn't give you the "wet" look like others do, it just gives you the extra curl and it looks natural. Or you could do a perm. Either one. But be careful with perms, once you get one it might not look like you'd planned, with the moose and hairspray, if you don't like it you can just wash it out and start over.

Best of Luck!

I'm afraid no food can make your hair curlier. Why don't you simply use hair products to get the curls you want? I personally use styling mousse to get the curly look, and it works. Give it a try.

i don't think there's anything you can EAT to make your hair grow differently. it's all basically genetics.

You can't make your hair "naturally" be curly if it's not.

Have you tried scrunching spray or creams yet? You say your hair "may want to be curly," which leads me to believe that it's at least somewhat wavy. Try using some scrunching spray/gel or curl-enhancing products, rub in your palms, distribute through hair, and scrunch wet hair by the handful and see what happens.

My grandma used to tell me to eat breadcrusts to make my hair curly when I was a little kid with slightly wavy hair. It worked, a little too well. Around age 12, my hair turned into an afro poofball of tight curls.

But seriously, I don't think there's anything you can eat. But there are products that you can use to make your hair curlier (gels, creams, conditioners) and your hair will probably be curlier if you let it dry without brushing it.
