If someone has curly hair now and he cuts it all off, is there a chance that he has straight hair ne

A person has medium-long wavy, curly hair now and wants to get rid of it. He goes to the barber and let the barber cut it all off. Is there a possibility that he will have straight hair next time? Or does he have to blame his genetics.

You are stuck with the curly hair! No it won't grow back straight!

it depends on whats his real natural hair is so if its curly there would be a definite chance it would be curly again...its his genetics

It is a chance, but usually when someone has nice pretty curly hair, it grows back naturally curly. Because my nephew has long curly pretty hair and it got cut before and all of his hair grew back naturally the same way before he got it cut.

Your hair will grow back curly. The follicles, the little holes that your hair grows out of are spiral shaped inside, people with straight hair have straight follicles.

Blame Genetics and know that alot of people get perms to get the curls we were born with (I know my sister covets my curls) so grow your curls and flaunt em!!!

I don't know about going from curly to straight hair, but I do know that as a young child I had stick straight hair, until I was about 12. I started out with longer straight hair, then I cut it to shoulder length, then I cut it really short, like a boy's haircut. I let it grow after that, and put layers in it, and ever since then I have curly hair. Even growing it longer hasn't helped make it straight again. I did go to the salon and have it straightened a few times, but I hate to put chemicals in my hair, so now I have learned to like my curly hair. This guy will just have to live with his curls. Or do what my brother does, have a short almost military butch cut, and it'll be too short to curl. Good luck.
